Queen Trousseau Quilted Quilt or Coverlet in Light Ivory Heirloom with Scallops

Life is meant to be lived well and our surroundings make such an imprint on our daily comfort and enjoyments.  This is a Queen Size Quilt in a pale Ivory color my Mama called "Parchment."  It is a fine-spun Cotton fabric that has been densely machine quilted in the most beautiful pattern of Sixteen Floral Squares surrounded by a quilted border and quilted on into the deep scallops around the edges.  Both sides are the same.  Mama says this is a "Trousseau Quilt."  Very lovely, full of charming detail and gorgeous workmanship.  I wish you could "smooth" it with your hands and see it up close.  It measures 86" long x 93" wide...a Queen Size.  Medium weight...not thin or flimsy.   It is romantic and charming and refined all at once and is the kind you hand down to the next generation.  It measures 86" long x 93" wide...a Queen Size.  Perfect for folding at the foot of the bed or as the primary Coverlet.  Be choosy about the accompanying linens that go with it, OK?  This is not an antique or even a vintage Quilt...it just looks like one. It has been carefully stored and needs a place to show off in.  Looks and feels new.
A note about the photos:  This pale Ivory color was hard to capture in my limited light.  The details were better when it was darkened a bit, but it is not this deep color...it really IS a pale parchment Ivory...I promise.
