  • Condition: You're looking at pics of a very plain amateur built model car kit.. Although the car isn't even painted, the detail on the chassis is good. I'll call out defects in the listing and price it low, so there's no buyer's remorse.

    I'm only trying to save this '55 from the recycle box. (I'd love to have the Latham blown, quad-side draft
    carbureted
    SBC engine in a 'Vette model.)  Although most Monogram kits I'm
    familiar
    with are 1:24 scale. this one seems to me to be more like 1:25 scale when compared next to a known AMT 55.  There aren't any missing parts besides what I called out. The interior is complete as are all the glasses. For some reason, there is only the grille surround, no actual grille. (I actually had a real 55 with the same set up..it was the thing in 1964!)  Do enlarge and check the photos to keep your expectations low. Everything in the photos will be on the model when it ships. Since this kit is pretty old and assembled with styrene glue years ago, please be prepared for possible loose parts when you unbox. I pack carefully, but, hey- USPS!  Shipped domestically with USPS parcel select ground .
