Dugan-Diamond Carnival Glass Leaf Rays Spade Tri-Corner Nappy, Purple/Amethyst
Single-handled nappy with a tri-corner rim known as the spade shape. The design features ten stippled leaves radiating from a central flower. The back is decorated in the leafy Daisy Mae pattern. Purple base glass with lovely satin golden iridescence. Introduced in 1912.
Condition:  No chips, cracks or repairs. The seam on the inside of the handle is a little uneven. The finish is in excellent condition, with a few tiny spots of wear near the rim.
Marks:  Unmarked.
Dimensions:  7" wide at handle, 5 5/8" deep, 2" high.
Color Note: Some pictures are taken with a black background to highlight how the color of the iridescence of carnival glass can change in appearance depending on background color. Both the white and black background photos were taken under the same lighting, only the background color was changed. How the iridescence will look in your home will depend on your unique background colors and lighting conditions.
