    Description

This is an interesting document issued on July 4th, 1867 by the state of Connecticut, honoring
those who served in the Civil War. It looks like an engraving that was made by the American
Bank Note Company of N.Y. and is signed by the governor James E. English and others. It
measures 15 1/2”x 12 1/2”, with some minor water stains and yellowing, but in fair condition.
It looks to be in the original mahogany frame, that’s in good condition measuring 19 1/2”x
    16 1/2”.
